You may have seen a movie as a child where a boy lives in the jungle. There is a snake in one of the scenes that hypnotizes them with his eyes and this painting was inspired by that scene in Jungle Book. Those hypnotic magic glasses go perfectly with all the scales on the king cobra that make your eyes dizzy. I recently went to a place where they milk snakes, holy moly it was so cool to watch...from the other side of the glass. The cobra just danced back and forth with this guy that gave his full trust in a reptile that could take him down with one bite! Like I said, it was so cool to watch - from the other side of the glass. Talk about a high-stress job that guy has!
